Our #1 Recovery Treatment

What Is a Hangover IV and What's In It?

A Hangover IV is an in-home IV treatment for morning-after symptoms. It combines a full liter of IV fluids with B-complex, B12, vitamin C, magnesium, and two prescription medications: Zofran (ondansetron) for nausea and Toradol (ketorolac) for headache and body aches. Las Vegas Mobile IV Therapy sends a licensed nurse to your hotel, home, or office anywhere in the Las Vegas metro, 24/7. The drip takes about 45 minutes and costs $250 flat.

Oral remedies ask an already irritated stomach to absorb fluids and medicine. An IV bypasses digestion entirely, delivering fluids, vitamins, and prescription relief directly into your bloodstream while you rest where you are.

The Honest Science

What Does a Hangover IV Actually Do?

A hangover is several problems at once. Research points to fluid loss, an irritated stomach, inflammation, and depleted nutrients all hitting together. Each ingredient in our Hangover IV is chosen to address one of those specific symptoms.

Does IV therapy cure a hangover?

No treatment is proven to cure a hangover. A 2005 systematic review in the BMJ found no intervention that prevents or cures hangover overall; only time clears the alcohol. What a Hangover IV is designed to do is relieve the individual symptoms while your body recovers: IV fluids address dehydration, Zofran (ondansetron) is a prescription medication for nausea, and Toradol (ketorolac) is a prescription anti-inflammatory used for headache and body aches. We would rather tell you exactly that than promise a miracle.

SYMPTOM 01

Dehydration

Alcohol suppresses vasopressin, so your body sheds more water and electrolytes than you take in, which contributes to thirst, dizziness, and fatigue.

1000cc saline + magnesiumWiese JG et al., Ann Intern Med, 2000.
SYMPTOM 02

Nausea

As alcohol is metabolized it produces acetaldehyde, a compound associated with nausea and malaise until the body clears it.

Zofran, plus optional add-onsSwift R & Davidson D, NIAAA, 1998.
SYMPTOM 03

Headache and Inflammation

Drinking triggers an inflammatory immune response that research associates with headache and the general feeling of being unwell.

Toradol (anti-inflammatory)Penning R et al., Curr Drug Abuse Rev, 2010.
SYMPTOM 04

Nutrient Depletion

Alcohol depletes B vitamins and other nutrients your body uses for energy production and normal recovery.

Safety First

Who Should Not Get a Hangover IV?

IV therapy is appropriate for most healthy adults, but not for everyone. Your nurse screens you before every treatment and will decline any visit that is not clinically appropriate.

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding. We don't provide elective hangover IVs during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

  • Kidney disease or on dialysis. Fluid and electrolyte loads must be cleared by your physician first.

  • Heart failure or fluid restrictions. Extra IV fluids may not be safe without your physician's clearance first.

  • Known allergies to an ingredient. Tell your nurse about any prior reactions to medications or vitamins.

  • Symptoms beyond a typical hangover. Confusion, chest pain, or severe vomiting need emergency care. Call 911; we will refer you rather than treat.

  • Under 18. The Hangover IV is for adults 18 and older only.

Not sure whether a Hangover IV is right for you? Call 725-217-4236 and a licensed nurse will walk you through it. If you are not a fit, we tell you upfront at no charge.

Hangover IV FAQ: Price, Safety, and Booking

Filter by topic or open any question. Still unsure? Call 725-217-4236 any time, we answer 24/7.

Booking & ArrivalHow fast can a nurse get to me in Las Vegas?
Same-day service is our specialty and we operate 24/7 across the Las Vegas metro, including Henderson, Summerlin, Paradise, and North Las Vegas. Exact arrival time depends on where you are and current bookings; weekend mornings are busiest, so booking the night before is the safest way to lock a morning slot.
Booking & ArrivalCan I book for later today or schedule ahead?
Both. Same-day on-demand visits are available around the clock, and you can also reserve a specific window ahead of time, which is useful for events, wedding mornings, or the day after a big night.
Booking & ArrivalHow long does the whole visit take?
Plan for about an hour. Setup and the health screen take a few minutes, the Hangover IV drip itself runs about 45 minutes, and your nurse packs up once you are feeling steady.
Safety & CareIs the Hangover IV safe? Who should not get one?
IV fluid administration is one of the most common medical procedures, and every visit starts with vitals and a screen by your nurse. We do not treat anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, on dialysis, living with severe heart failure, under 18, or showing symptoms beyond a typical hangover. If you are not a fit, we tell you upfront at no charge. IV therapy is an elective wellness service, not a substitute for emergency care.
Safety & CareCan I get the IV if I am actively throwing up?
Usually, yes. Nausea is one of the most common reasons people book a Hangover IV. After your screen, the nurse typically administers Zofran (ondansetron), a prescription anti-nausea medication, early in the visit, and the IV route means nothing has to stay down in your stomach. If your vomiting is severe or you cannot stop, that can signal something beyond a hangover, and your nurse may refer you to medical care instead.
Safety & CareWho administers the IV?
Licensed nurses and registered EMTs administer every visit, under the medical direction of Dr. Daniel Olivero, MD. Prescription orders are written by Rich Majors, FNP-BC, a board-certified nurse practitioner with Nevada license 821777. The person treating you screens you, places the line, monitors the drip, and answers your questions.
PricingWhat is included in the $250 price?
Everything: the licensed nurse's visit to your address, the full IV bag, all vitamins and prescription medications in the formula, vitals, and the health screen. $250 flat with upfront pricing and no hidden fees. The only extra cost is an optional add-on at $35 if you choose one.
PricingDo you offer group bookings for a bachelorette or wedding?
Yes. Group IV visits run about two hours and are quoted on request, so you get one clear price for the whole party before you book. Call 725-217-4236 with your headcount, location, and preferred time window for a quote.
PricingHow much do add-ons cost?
Every add-on is $35, including glutathione, NAC, Pepcid, MIC B12, Phenergan, and Benadryl. Your nurse brings them to the appointment and can recommend the right one during your screen, so you never have to decide in advance.
Service AreaWhich areas do you cover?
The full Las Vegas Valley plus Southern Nevada: Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Enterprise, Summerlin South, Sunrise Manor, Winchester, Whitney, Boulder City, Lake Las Vegas, and outlying areas including Mesquite, Laughlin, Pahrump, Primm, Moapa Valley, and Searchlight. If you are outside those areas, call and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.
Service AreaDo you come to hotels, resorts, and Airbnbs?
Yes. A large share of our visits are at Strip and off-Strip hotels, resorts, and short-term rentals. Your nurse arrives discreetly with everything needed; just have your room number ready when you book.
