Selank peptide therapy in Las Vegas

Selank peptide therapy in Las Vegas

What is Selank?

Selank is a synthetic peptide analog of tuftsin, prescribed as a compounded injectable and self administered at home under medical direction. Compounded means a licensed pharmacy prepares it for one named patient on one prescription. Many people first meet Selank as a nasal spray sold online. That is not what this is. Las Vegas Mobile IV Therapy dispenses an injectable vial on a prescription, and it is not an FDA approved product.

This is a take home vial, not an IV drip. A licensed nurse or REMT from Las Vegas Mobile IV Therapy travels to your home, hotel, or office anywhere in the Las Vegas metro, confirms the medical order, dispenses your supply, and teaches you to draw up and self administer that first dose. The vial stays with you, and you continue on the schedule your provider sets. If the IV route is what you are after instead, our nootropic IV drip covers that side of the menu.

Your Selank visit

How your Selank visit works, step by step

Four steps, start to finish. The third is why people pick a mobile service for peptides over a mail order vial.

Registered nurse placing an IV for a seated woman in a Las Vegas hotel room during a mobile IV therapy visit
1

Consultation and prescription review

A licensed provider reviews your health history, current medications, allergies, and goals. If Selank is not clinically appropriate for you, we say so and discuss other provider guided options. Nothing is dispensed before this review.

2

Your nurse comes to you

A licensed nurse or REMT from Las Vegas Mobile IV Therapy travels to your home, hotel, or office anywhere in the Las Vegas metro, confirms the medical order, and checks your history against the chart before anything is opened.

3

Your nurse teaches you to inject

Differentiator

You draw up and give the first dose yourself with the nurse guiding you through the steps. You practice until you are comfortable, then the vial stays with you for the rest of the supply.

4

You dose at home and refill after review

You follow the schedule your provider sets for the length of the supply. Your provider reviews things before any refill is issued, and adjusts, pauses, or stops the therapy based on that review.

Your first dose is never a solo act. Book the consultation and the rest follows the four steps above, with a nurse teaching that first dose at your own counter.

Selank vs Semax: what actually differs

This is the comparison people search for, and most pages answer it by declaring a winner. We will not. Which peptide suits a person is a clinical judgment your provider makes, not something a web page can settle. What a page can do is set the menu facts and the regulatory record side by side. Both sit on the Las Vegas Mobile IV Therapy peptide menu at the same price.

This page · Selank

Selank

A synthetic analog of tuftsin, compounded for one named patient on one prescription and dispensed as a take home vial. Your nurse teaches the first subcutaneous dose in person and the vial stays with you for the supply period.

  • $99 for a 1 month supply. One price, one format
  • Subcutaneous injection, self administered after in person teaching
  • Listed by the FDA among substances nominated for compounding and then withdrawn by the nominator
  • No FDA determination was ever completed
The other one · Semax

Semax

A different molecule on the same menu group and at the same price, dispensed on the same model. It is a heptapeptide rather than a tuftsin analog, and it has its own page with the detail this one gives Selank.

  • $99 for a 1 month supply. The same price as Selank
  • Subcutaneous injection, self administered after in person teaching
  • On the same FDA list, also withdrawn by its nominator
  • Read the detail on our Semax page

So which is better, Semax or Selank? Nobody selling either one can answer that for you honestly, and the FDA record is the reason why. Both peptides sit in the same place on the same FDA page: nominated for use in compounding, placed in category 2 while the agency evaluated them, then withdrawn by their nominators before any determination was reached.

For Semax the FDA writes that it "lacks sufficient information to know whether the drug would cause harm if administered to humans." For Selank it writes that it "lacks important information regarding any safety issues raised by selank acetate administered to humans." Two peptides, one regulatory position, and one honest next step: bring the question to the consultation, where a provider can weigh it against your history instead of against a search result. The rest of what we dispense is on our mobile service menu.

Your Selank supply

What a Selank supply period involves

People search for a Selank dosage chart and find a different one on every site. Las Vegas Mobile IV Therapy does not publish one. The dose is a clinical decision your provider makes from your history, not a figure a web page can set for you. What we can describe is the shape of a 1 month supply: how it is scheduled and reviewed. Timing, dosing, and length are set by your provider.

Your first weeks

Getting the routine right

The first phase is about technique and consistency, not sensation. Most questions we get in this window are about timing and site rotation.

  • Dosing on the schedule your provider set
  • Rotating injection sites and logging them
  • Noting any injection site reactions
  • Nurse available by phone for technique checks
Your provider review

Provider review point

Your provider reviews adherence, tolerability, and whether continuing is appropriate. This is where therapy is adjusted, paused, or stopped.

  • Structured check in with your provider
  • Review of anything you have logged
  • Dose or schedule adjustment if indicated
  • Refill considered only if clinically appropriate
End of supply

A fresh decision before any refill

Your one month supply runs out at the end of the period. Whether there is another one is a new clinical decision, not an automatic renewal.

  • Complete the supply as directed by your provider
  • Refills quoted only after a provider review
  • Dispose of used sharps as your nurse instructed
  • New review before any further supply

Every supply starts and ends with your provider. If the shape above fits what you are looking for, the consultation is the first step, and the nurse can answer anything before you commit.

Your injection kit

What is in your Selank injection kit

Everything you need for the supply period is left in your home at the end of the visit. Nothing on this list is an upsell.

Storage and injection safety

How to store Selank and inject it safely at home

Your Las Vegas Mobile IV Therapy nurse walks through all of this in person and leaves it written down. Your label carries the instructions that apply to your own vial.

Nurse reviewing an intake tablet with a client before a mobile IV in a Las Vegas hotel suite

Storing your vial

Store the vial exactly as its label directs, in its labeled packaging, upright and out of direct light. Never the freezer and never the fridge door. Keep it where children and pets cannot reach it. After a power cut or a long spell out of storage, call before dosing rather than guessing, and never use a vial that is cloudy, discolored, has particles, or is past its beyond use date.

Giving yourself a dose

Wash your hands and set out a swab, a new syringe, and your written schedule. Swab the vial stopper, let it air dry, and draw exactly the amount your provider specified. Choose a site your nurse showed you, and rotate sites each dose. Pinch gently, insert at the angle you were taught, inject slowly, then apply light pressure with a clean swab without rubbing, and log the dose and the site. Stop and call if you notice spreading redness, swelling, warmth, hives, or any trouble breathing. For a medical emergency call 911.

Sharps disposal

The used syringe goes straight into the sharps container after the dose. Never recap, bend, or reuse a needle, and never put sharps in household trash or recycling. Keep the container upright and closed between uses, stop filling at the fill line, then close the lid permanently and take it to an approved Nevada collection site, or ask your nurse and we will arrange collection.

When in doubt, call before you dose. Everything above is written down for you at the visit, and the same number reaches a licensed nurse who can talk you through it.

FDA status and research

Is Selank FDA approved? What the research says

No. We link primary sources instead of summarizing them for you. Published Selank research is preclinical, meaning cell and animal work rather than trials in people, and none of it establishes a benefit in people. The FDA's own file is the more useful document. The passage naming Selank is quoted in full below.

Read this first · Regulatory

Where Selank actually stands with the FDA

Selank is not an FDA approved medication. Its regulatory history is more specific than that. Selank acetate was nominated for the FDA's review of bulk drug substances used in compounding, placed in category 2 while the agency evaluated it, then withdrawn by the nominator before any determination was reached. The FDA still lists it, on the page for substances that may present significant safety risks, and states: "Compounded drugs containing selank acetate may pose risk for immunogenicity for certain routes of administration due to the potential for aggregation and peptide-related impurities. FDA lacks important information regarding any safety issues raised by selank acetate administered to humans."

  • Compounded on an individual prescription, never sold over the counter
  • Not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness before dispensing
  • The nomination was withdrawn, so no FDA determination was ever completed
  • Availability depends on pharmacy sourcing and can change
Preclinical only

What has actually been studied

Selank is a synthetic analog of tuftsin, a short peptide your own immune system produces. Two examples from the published work: a 2016 Frontiers in Pharmacology paper measured how Selank changed the expression of genes involved in neurotransmission in rat frontal cortex, and a 2017 paper in the same journal ran a comparable gene expression analysis in cultured IMR-32 neuroblastoma cells.

Read those two sentences again. One is a rat study. The other is a dish of cells. Neither is a clinical trial in people, neither tested the compounded vial dispensed here, and neither supports a claim that Selank will do anything for you. That is why this page describes a service and a molecule instead of a result.

Selank questions we get in Las Vegas

Still not sure it is right for you?

Ask the nurse directly before you book anything. If a peptide is not appropriate for you, we would rather say so on the phone. Our all treatment questions page covers the wider menu.

725-217-4236
What is Selank?

Selank is a synthetic analog of tuftsin, a short peptide the human immune system produces. Las Vegas Mobile IV Therapy dispenses it as a compounded prescription vial that a licensed nurse or REMT brings to you, teaches you to use, and leaves with you for a one month supply. It is not an FDA approved medication, and what it is studied for is covered in the research section above.

Is Selank FDA approved?

No. Selank is a compounded peptide, not an FDA approved medication. Its record is more specific than that: selank acetate was nominated for the FDA's review of bulk drug substances used in compounding, placed in category 2 while the agency evaluated it, then withdrawn by the nominator before any determination was reached. The FDA writes that it "lacks important information regarding any safety issues raised by selank acetate administered to humans." Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies for individual patients and are not evaluated by the FDA before they are dispensed.

Is Selank a nasal spray or an injection?

This program dispenses an injectable vial, given subcutaneously, which is why your kit contains syringes and a sharps container. Selank is widely sold online as a nasal spray, and those products are not prescribed, not compounded for a named patient, and not what we dispense. Your nurse teaches the first injection in person before the vial stays with you.

What is the difference between Selank and Semax?

They are different molecules that sit in the same group on our menu at the same price: $99 for a one month supply each. Selank is an analog of tuftsin and Semax is a heptapeptide. Both are compounded on an individual prescription, both are given subcutaneously, and both appear on the same FDA list of substances nominated for compounding and then withdrawn by their nominators. Which one suits a person is a clinical judgment your provider makes, not a ranking we can publish.

What does Selank cost in Las Vegas?

A one month supply of Selank is $99. That is a supply price, not a per visit fee. Your provider confirms the final cost at your consultation, and refills are quoted only after a provider reviews how the supply went.

Do I need a prescription for Selank?

Yes. A licensed provider reviews your health history, medications, and allergies, and issues the order before anything is compounded or dispensed. A consultation does not guarantee that Selank will be prescribed.

Do I have to inject myself?

Yes, after the first dose. A nurse or REMT guides you through drawing up and giving that first injection, then the vial stays with you and you continue at home on the schedule your provider set. If you are not comfortable self injecting, a caregiver can be taught instead, or your provider can discuss other options.

How long does a Selank supply last?

One month. Your provider sets the dosing schedule, and the vial is dispensed to cover that supply period. We do not publish a cycle length beyond the supply, because how long anyone continues is a clinical decision your provider makes at review.

How do I store the vial?

Your vial is labeled with the storage instructions for your specific prescription, and your nurse goes through them with you before leaving. Follow that label rather than general advice you find online, and call us rather than dosing if you are unsure whether a vial has been stored correctly.

Who should not use Selank?

That is a clinical decision, so it is made by your provider rather than by a web page. Tell us if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding, and disclose every medication, supplement, allergy, and active or past medical condition at your consultation. Your provider may decline the therapy on any of those grounds. Tested athletes should check the anti doping rules that apply to them first.

Can a nurse just bring it without a consultation?

No. A licensed provider has to review your history and issue an order first, and a nurse needs that medical order to dispense in a home or mobile setting in Nevada.

Does insurance cover Selank?

Generally no. Peptide therapy is considered elective and is usually not covered, so most clients pay out of pocket. There are no hidden visit fees inside our standard Las Vegas service area.

Can I buy Selank online instead?

We strongly advise against it. Products sold online as research chemicals are not prepared for human use, are not dispensed against a prescription, and have no verified sourcing. Nothing we dispense reaches you without a prescription behind it and a licensed pharmacy that compounded it.

Where in Las Vegas do you deliver Selank?

Across the Las Vegas Valley, including Henderson, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Enterprise, Summerlin South, Sunrise Manor, Winchester, and Whitney. A licensed nurse or REMT comes to your home, office, or hotel. Call 725-217-4236 to confirm coverage for your address.
