Storing your vial
Store the vial exactly as its label directs, in its labeled packaging, upright and out of direct light. Never the freezer and never the fridge door. Keep it where children and pets cannot reach it. After a power cut or a long spell out of storage, call before dosing rather than guessing, and never use a vial that is cloudy, discolored, has particles, or is past its beyond use date.
Giving yourself a dose
Wash your hands and set out a swab, a new syringe, and your written schedule. Swab the vial stopper, let it air dry, and draw exactly the amount your provider specified. Choose a site your nurse showed you, and rotate sites each dose. Pinch gently, insert at the angle you were taught, inject slowly, then apply light pressure with a clean swab without rubbing, and log the dose and the site. Stop and call if you notice spreading redness, swelling, warmth, hives, or any trouble breathing. For a medical emergency call 911.
Sharps disposal
The used syringe goes straight into the sharps container after the dose. Never recap, bend, or reuse a needle, and never put sharps in household trash or recycling. Keep the container upright and closed between uses, stop filling at the fill line, then close the lid permanently and take it to an approved Nevada collection site, or ask your nurse and we will arrange collection.

Is Epitalon FDA approved? What the research says
We link primary sources instead of summarizing them for you. Published Epitalon research is cell culture work rather than human trials, and the regulatory picture changed twice in 2026. Both are set out below without spin.
Where Epitalon actually stands with the FDA
Epitalon is not an FDA approved medication, and it is not on the FDA's 503A Bulks List, the list of substances compounding pharmacies may use. Its position moved twice in 2026. Both changes are worth stating plainly. Epitalon was nominated to the FDA's Category 2 list of substances that may present significant safety risks, then withdrawn by its nominator, so it no longer appears on that active list. The concern the FDA recorded was that "compounded drugs containing epitalon may pose risk for immunogenicity for certain routes of administration due to the potential for aggregation and peptide-related impurities." On July 24, 2026 the FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee took up Epitalon, with insomnia recorded as the evaluated use, and voted to recommend adding it to the 503A list.

What has actually been studied
Epitalon, also written Epithalon, is a synthetic tetrapeptide made of alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid and glycine. The most cited work is a 2003 Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine paper reporting telomerase activity and telomere elongation in cultured human somatic cells. A 2025 Biogerontology paper from a separate research group reported telomere lengthening in human cell lines, through telomerase upregulation or an alternative lengthening pathway.
Read those two sentences carefully. Both are cell culture studies. Neither is a clinical trial in people, neither tested the compounded product dispensed here, and neither supports a claim that Epitalon will do anything for you. That is why this page describes a service and a molecule rather than a result.

They are the same peptide. Epitalon and Epithalon are two English spellings of the same name, and you will also see it written as AEDG after its four amino acids: alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid and glycine. What does Epitalon peptide do?
Less is established than most pages online suggest, and we would rather say so. Epitalon has been studied in cultured human cells, where researchers reported telomerase activity and telomere lengthening. Those are cell culture results, not results in people, and none of that work tested the compounded product dispensed here. We do not claim an outcome. Your provider decides whether Epitalon is appropriate for you at all, and may decide it is not.
Do I need a prescription for Epitalon?
Yes. A licensed provider reviews your health history, medications, and allergies, and issues the order before anything is compounded or dispensed. A consultation does not guarantee that Epitalon will be prescribed. A nurse also needs that medical order to dispense in a home or mobile setting in Nevada, and nursing licenses are publicly verifiable with the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
Is Epitalon a supplement?

How long does an Epitalon supply last?

How do I store the Epitalon vial?
Your vial is labeled with the storage instructions for your specific prescription, and your nurse goes through them with you before leaving. Follow that label rather than general advice you find online, and call us rather than dosing if you are unsure whether a vial has been stored correctly.
Who should not use Epitalon?
That is a clinical decision, so it is made by your provider rather than by a web page. Tell us if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding, and disclose every medication, supplement, allergy, and active or past medical condition at your consultation. Your provider may decline the therapy on any of those grounds. Tested athletes should check the anti doping rules that apply to them first.
